Question:Compatible with 7.62 x 39?
Answer:Sure! Only the diameter matters and 7.62 x 39 is a .30 diameter bullet. I shoot 7.62 x 51 and it works for me, so it will work for you.
Question:Is this brush good to use on chrome lined barrels?
Answer:I don't see why not. Very good brush.
Question:It says .30 caliber in the title, and then it says .22 caliber in the description. Why would anyone buy this?
Answer:I believe that the ad is a misprint in the description section. I ordered the 30 cal and received the 30 caliber. The brush works well and I believe that you will find it useful.
